Assistant Manager Sales – Crystal Sands

Job Summary:

 

If you are an enthusiastic and results-oriented individual, with the proven ability to lead a sales team and ensure sales activities yield the maximum revenue, then you could be the Assistant Manager Sales we are looking for. The Assistant Manager Sales will support the Sales & Marketing team in developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth and enhance the hotel’s market position. This role requires a dynamic sales professional with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, and a proven track record in sales.

 

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth. 
  •  

    Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, embassies, high commissions NGOs, corporate accounts, travel agencies and industry partners.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts, addressing their needs and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  •  

    Sales Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to the executive team.
  • Implement strategies to address any performance gaps and optimize sales processes.
  •  

    Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:

  • Work closely with reservations, marketing, operations, and other departments to ensure alignment and support in achieving overall business goals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales collateral and promotional materials.
  •  

    Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on market research to enhance the hotel’s competitive position.
  •  

    Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.Minimum of 3-4 years of proven experience in sales within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, strategies, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
  •
